Imagine a math program that builds skills and inspires confidence, curiosity, and genuine understanding. Symphony Math® empowers Canadian students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 to excel by making math meaningful, accessible, and engaging for every learner.
Symphony Math is a comprehensive, research-based program designed to transform mathematics learning for Canadian students. Built on the belief that every child can achieve mathematical mastery, Symphony Math goes beyond simple repetition and drills to cultivate deep understanding, confidence, and a lifelong love of math.
The amount of time and practice that students need to understand mathematical concepts is not uniform. Symphony Math allows students to spend the time they need in order to master foundational concepts. In addition, the program quickly moves students through its conceptual progression to identify their areas of need.
Once the area of need has been identified, the program slows the progress until the necessary understanding has been achieved. In addition to adjusting the pace of progress, Symphony Math also alerts educators to the need for intervention when students show signs of struggle.
Symphony Math’s structured curriculum actively involves students in the learning process to develop deep number sense and understanding of key math concepts. Students learn through interactive tools, visual models, and real-world problems to build lasting skills—not just memorized facts.
Symphony Math features an adaptive Screener & Benchmarker, administered three times a year, that pinpoints each student’s instructional level. This assessment provides teachers with actionable data to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth, ensuring personalized support for every learner.
